k went bad
.gd was on LTTE AND INDIA'S ROLE IN IT ...it was fine..then the interview was entirely technical ...not a single hr question.
and the bad thing was they asked me from my non core papers.
my profile is:
10th icse 96%
12th cbse 89%
graduation bit mesra 79.1%
they asked me from signal processing ,discete mathematics,and general caluculs...which i could not answer....to be frank i got utter nervous in the 1st 5 mnts...then they went to politics...went ok...then to analyse your group gd...did...then ....asked me my area of academic interest..i t\asked them to ask anything from CSE DOMAIN...and they at max could move to MICROPROCESSORS(again electronics
)...asked me to write a machine level code to add and print the sum of two nos....did....then they asked me the diff bwn science and engineering...and some other -3 min fundebaaji reltd to that...then it ended....
tell u...have not been ragged like this before....!!!total time 20 mints...Indore went ok..gd was an article discussion..i started..then after 5 mints.it was a battlefield...and m,e on the top :P .... mam asked us alll to spk a mnte....we did...fine in the end...bcoz everyone was gudd....
then the PI....first question..y did u join BIT?
next...why u hae poor grades in data structures...
i said..i didn stdy...but i am good with all my core subjects....this was the right thing to happen...they asked me...wat is a core sub...i told..ask me anything from computers...he asked for may be 3 mins..rapidfire..good 7-8 quesns...from rdbms/os/csa/dma/cpu buses....answered alll with ease and grace
then the hr mam...talked about my strenghts...weaknesses...about a sportsman....and then it was over...nice one ....lasted 4.5 minutes....the moral is :
if K takes me ----it will b bcause i managed the crisis well fter the 1st 5 mints of my interview
if I doesn take me ---> i had overdone it in the gd.
but on the whole ...great experience ....waiting for the other three to come!!!!
